Cruising

Many men who have sex with other men cruise for sexual encounters.  Whether it’s online, in a park after dark or in a spa or sauna (also called a bath house), cruising can pose many risks to personal safety and infection control.

There are some domains where public sex is not tolerated and if caught, you may face an offense under the criminal code of Canada (most likely a sexual offense or indecency law). These places might include public parks, public washrooms and other very public areas.

This is the law not just for men who enjoy sex with other men, but men who have sex with women, women who have sex with other women, and women who enjoy sex with men!

If you’re going to cruise, discretion and safety are keys.  Make sure you are obeying the laws and have condoms and lubricant available just in case.  Never compromise your life long health for a few minutes of pleasure!
