We’ve incorporated several new exciting features in order to bring you the most information on HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C and sexually transmitted infections. We’re aiming to be the ultimate source for information on Prince Edward Island.
AIDS PEI exists because HIV/AIDS exists on PEI. We aim to reduce the incidence of HIV through prevention education and harm reduction in addition to supporting people living with the disease in our province. We work to prevent HIV by addressing the social determinants of health, ensuring contraception is accessible and affordable to all islanders and reducing the harm related to various activities, such as unprotected sex and intravenous drug use which place individuals at a high risk for HIV.
